Mallernee & Branch LLP is comprised of the two name partners, Rollin Mallernee and Tom Branch, plus three other lawyers in our office who are affiliated with the firm on an of counsel basis.
The makeup of the firm means that you will be working with an experienced lawyer, and not paying for the training of a new attorney or paralegal. The firm was formed in January, 1997, when Rollin Mallernee and Tom Branch combined their practices to form Mallernee & Branch LLP. Since inception, the firm has practiced out of the same offices in Colony Square, in the heart of Midtown Atlanta.
Rollin Mallernee
Rollin Mallernee graduated from Southern Adventist University in 1968 where he was president of the student body. He graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1971. In law school he was articles editor of the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative law. He was also on the Moot Court Board, and President of the Law School Civil Right Council that conducted the law school's first black recruitment program. In 1998 Rollin Mallernee was inducted as an honorary member of the National Athletic Trainers Association. He is a member of the Georgia and California Bars, and the Lawyers Club of Atlanta.
Tom Branch
Tom Branch has been in private practice since 1980, after graduating from the University of the University of Georgia School of Law. He received his undergraduate degree from Emory University in 1975, graduating with High Honors.
Tom is also a member of the American and Atlanta Bar Associations, as well as the State Bar of Georgia. He is a member of the American Bar Association Forum on Franchising. He was a co-founder of the Southeast Franchise Forum and the Atlanta Bar Association Franchise Law Committee.
He has served on the Board of Directors of the Atlanta Bar Association and served as a Board Member and as Chairman of the Board of the Atlanta Bar Association Sole Practitioner and Small Firm Section. He was the author of “Franchising in Georgia,” in the Georgia State Bar Journal, November, 1987.

Francis Bird
Francis M. Bird. Mr. Bird holds degrees from Princeton, Emory University Law School, and Harvard Law School, and was admitted to practice in 1964. Mr. Bird is a member of the Fiduciary Law, General Practice & Trial Law, and Alternative Disputes Resolutions Law of the State Bar of Georgia.
Price Williams
Price S. Williams holds degrees from Auburn University and Emory University Law School, and was admitted to practice in 1967. Mr. Williams is a member of the Business Law, Fiduciary Law, Ral Property Law, and Taxation Law Sections of the State Bar of Georgia.
